Cleaning Are Your Vents Clean? Are Your Vents Clean?

Check the vents that pull air into your HVAC system. Are they dusty and collecting cobwebs? How about the ones that deliver heat and air conditioning into your space?

Remember, no matter how well you clean your vents, the material you see on the outside is present inside the ductwork.

Can you see inside the ductwork? If you can, you will understand how important it is to clean your system.

Spring is a great time to clear out the cobwebs and debris. Our crews use a push/pull system that gets all the way through the system. They also have many different whips and brushes they use to loosen debris along the walls of the ductwork.

Your building will immediately smell fresher. Employees will breathe easier knowing you improved their work environment. And everyone who visits will be left with a better impression of your company.

Particulates in the air clog the filters in your HVAC system. Sure, you can—and should--change the filter as directed by your HVAC professional, but changing filters doesn’t get at all the debris in the ducts.

Replacement filters can become clogged again the first time you run the system if loose debris remains in the ductwork. A system with clogged filters is inefficient and may be more expensive to maintain in the long run.
